He brought his family to the United States and became an American citizen — something he counted among the proudest achievements of his life. He loved to travel, and the discovery held in every journey.
He wanted to learn to fly. He is flying still — in his brother, who became a pilot, and in the daughter who built her life around the sky. Through his example, and an extraordinary work ethic, he taught her respect, integrity, commitment, and consistency.
